The Asia region is divided into four (4) active sub-regions, namely the Central Asia, Northeast Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. In terms of development cooperation, key issues of the region revolve around the (1) monitoring of international financial institutions (IFIs); (2) private sector accountability; (3) confronting fragility, conflict, and rampant militarism; (4) human rights; (5) urbanisation; and (6) enabling environment for CSOs.
